The WaterSentinel Ultraviolet light water treatment units are germicidal to bacteria, viruses and other microorganisms for up to 6 months. The UV modules interfere with their molecular structure. UV disrupts DNA and RNA within the microorganism thereby preventing the reproductions process and the cells are rendered sterile. The glow at the top indicates the unit is on. Great for Germ-Free drinking water using safe, affordable UV technology. An ideal adjunct for under sink and R.O. point-of-use filtration installations.
